Founded by philanthropist and actress Daniella Okeke, the foundation is driven by a deep passion for social impact and a vision of a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background.

Daniella Okeke is a renowned Nigerian actress, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, celebrated for her impactful roles in Nollywood and her unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes. Born on March 26, 1987, in Imo State, Nigeria, she pursued her passion for the arts by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine and Applied Arts from Delta State University .

Her acting career took a significant leap in 2013 with her standout performance in the award-winning film Lagos Cougars, earning her nominations for Best Actress in a Leading Role at both the Africa Movie Academy Awards and the Nigeria Entertainment Awards .

Beyond the silver screen, Daniella is the founder and CEO of Dcovi Entertainment Limited, a media and entertainment company. However, her most profound impact lies in her philanthropic endeavors through the Daniella Okeke Foundation (DOF).
Daniella’s deep-seated compassion and desire to uplift the less privileged inspired the establishment of the Daniella Okeke Foundation. She articulated her motivation, stating:

“Reaching out to those who cannot help themselves is my own little way of giving back to society.”

Since its inception, the foundation has embarked on numerous initiatives aimed at alleviating suffering and providing hope:

  • Prison Outreach: Visiting Kirikiri Women’s Federal Prison to distribute essential supplies to incarcerated women and their newborns .

  • Stay At School Project: Encouraging education by providing school supplies to children, emphasizing the transformative power of learning .

  • Community Support: Offering aid to destitute homes and organizing free medical screenings to promote health awareness .
